Truth Saves Lives

ree

Since the reopening of our on-site medical partner's office, we have served a wide range of clients. Some women call us with excitement in their voices- wanting an ultrasound for a chance to see their growing babies. Others send us the very common "Do you provide abortions?" message, only making an ultrasound appointment to determine what kind of abortion they are eligible for.

Among those pursuing an abortion, there are countless variables to take into consideration.

But what do all of these women have in common?

They need to believe we will support them, wherever the road leads.

They need to trust us.

So when we answer their question (“Do you provide abortions?”), we do so with complete honesty. We do not offer abortions, and we make that very clear. And (contrary to our pro-abortion counterparts who claim that we are deceptive and unconcerned about the women we serve), we clearly explain why an ultrasound is essential for their health and safety- regardless of their intentions.

Being untruthful about offering abortions would likely draw more women through our doors, but it would also guarantee that these women would feel deceived and never return. Our goal is to foster lasting relationships built on trust and respect. And unlike the abortion industry, we will never deceive our clients into receiving our services. We highlight the value of what we offer, and let the facts speak for themselves.

Lies don't save lives. Truth does.

And the truth is, women want honesty.

We know that ultrasound technology is life-saving for preborn babies, but what many don't know is that ultrasounds save mothers' lives as well. The National Institute of Health states,

Whether a woman wants to carry or terminate her pregnancy, an ultrasound can expose an ectopic pregnancy and prevent fatalities.

Additionally, if a woman is unsure/inaccurate about the date of her last menstrual period, she may not know what type of abortion she qualifies for. If she takes the abortion pill after 10 weeks of gestation, she may need to undergo a surgical abortion as well, which carries additional risks. An ultrasound ensures she knows exactly how far along she is.

Abortion providers do not stress the importance of an ultrasound because they do not care about the safety of their patients. They care about revenue, and ultrasounds decrease the number of women seeking abortions.

Thanks to supporters like you, we can provide our entire scope of life-affirming services at no cost to clients, because there should never be a conflict of interest with life in the balance. All life is valuable. And just like we vow to defend the preborn, we make the same effort to advocate for the mothers we serve. Every life deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and value.

That is what it means to be truly "pro-life."
